Mentor a Teen Mom

Florence Crittenton Services is looking for volunteer mentors for the 2021-2022 school year. FloCrit moms are vibrant, resilient young women facing the unique challenge of finishing school, raising their children, and setting up a life while still in their teenage years. We are looking for mentors who will commit to getting to know their mentee, providing encouragement, and walking alongside her as she is on her journey of growth and development. Individuals will work closely with FloCrit teen moms with a specific time commitment beginning in September and continuing into November 2022. Anyone interested in the mentoring program will go through a selective screening process including application, interview, and background check. Please email Yara Vaneau, Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator, at yvaneau@flocritco.org for further information.

Volunteer Spotlights

Read about some of our amazing volunteers! They come to Florence Crittenton for different reasons. Some are students, some are moms, some are retired. They all love volunteering here because of impact they can have on our teen mothers and their children, and we couldn't run this campus without them!

Volunteer Newsletters

Each month in our monthly newsletters, we will share updates, spotlights, profiles of amazing volunteers, and general information regarding our volunteer program.

Volunteer Grant Programs

Volunteer Grant programs, also known as “Dollars for Doers” programs, are charitable giving programs where companies provide a monetary donation to eligible nonprofits to recognize employees who volunteer.

These programs enable corporations to give back to their communities and support organizations that employees are already passionate about. They encourage and reward employees for giving back to the community.

If you volunteer at Florence Crittenton Services, please tell your company’s human resource administrator and ask if your company has a Dollars for Doers/Volunteer Grant program to support your volunteer efforts. For more information, please contact our Special Events & Volunteer Coordinator, Yara Vaneau at 720.423.8905 or yvaneau@flocritco.org.
