Volunteer Grant Programs

Volunteer Grant programs, also known as “Dollars for Doers” programs, are charitable giving programs where companies provide a monetary donation to eligible nonprofits to recognize employees who volunteer.

These programs enable corporations to give back to their communities and support organizations that employees are already passionate about. They encourage and reward employees for giving back to the community.

If you volunteer at Florence Crittenton Services, please tell your company’s human resource administrator and ask if your company has a Dollars for Doers/Volunteer Grant program to support your volunteer efforts. For more information, please contact our Special Events & Volunteer Manager, C.C. Cram at 720.423.8910 or ccram@flocritco.org.

Volunteer Spotlight

Esmerelda Luevano

Esmerelda began to volunteer with Florence Crittenton Services at the beginning of her first semester at Regis University. The school had one day when all the nonprofit organizations came to Regis and presented to the students. They gave a brief summary of what they do and who they help. Esmerelda was automatically touched after hearing about Florence Crittenton Services, and who they helped. Honestly, she wasn’t aware that these kinds of organizations existed to help young moms. She's glad to be part of a great, kind-hearted team.

Esmerelda has been one of the administrative volunteers at Florence Crittenton Services. She has helped with marketing, and has always liked event planning, video editing, and helping making things possible. She learned a lot of new things from paying attention to small details to make work look more professional and just better to look at. On top of all of this, she comes to Florence Crittenton Services to learn new things about herself and just to be an extra hand for anyone in need.

Esmerelda's favorite part of volunteering at Florence Crittenton Services is the people she gets to be around while she's here. Everyone is always happy and smiling. The school isn’t huge; it has the right amount of students, babies, and employees. Everyone knows everyone. As an extra bonus, she loves being able to care for the little, cute, adorable babies.
