COVID-19 Donations Update
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our campus is closed and our in-kind donation program is suspended until further notice. Once we return to campus, we will determine how to safely resume accepting donations, and will update this page accordingly. The following organizations are currently still accepting donations. We suggest calling to make sure your donation center is open and still accepting donations before you drop off items. Do not forget to thoroughly clean all clothes and items before you drop them off.
Retail locations are all closed until at least April 6, but as of March 24, Goodwill’s in-store donation centers will remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Check their Store Locator page with the most up-to-date information.
Two locations are still accepting donations in metro-area (in Boulder and Parker). Donations are accepted between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
A Precious Child
A Precious Child is temporarily closed to do deep cleaning and is not accepting donations during that time.
A Precious Child is accepting donations in Broomfield (7051 W. 118th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020). Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Florence Crittenton Services provides teen moms and their children with basic needs items required to raise healthy families. All new items are distributed in our Baby Bucks Store in partnership with Zonta Club of Denver II where students earn credits to spend through good school attendance. Items also can be “purchased” using CPR2 tickets that are distributed to students who demonstrate our campus values: Community, Potential, Respect, and Responsibility – CPR2. All gently used items are distributed at no cost in our Baby Bucks Store in partnership with A Precious Child. We distribute gift cards throughout the year as an emergency resource, incentives for academic improvement, prizes for our Family Engagement Events, and gifts for the holidays.
We accept donations of new and clean, gently used items from our Wish List Mondays through Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Florence Crittenton Services offices located at 96 South Zuni St., Denver, CO 80223. Please contact Theresa Garcia at 720.423.8910 for more information.
