Volunteer Profile: Callie Coble
Callie recently moved back to Colorado after graduating from Arizona State University with her Masters in Social Work, and wanted to find a nonprofit to volunteer with whose mission she believed in and specifically empowered women.
The support and community Lauren has found here have helped her to refocus on her education and make plans to support herself and her child in the future.
“FloCrit taught me that life is never easy, especially as a young mom with a child to support,” Lindsay says. “They instilled a fearlessness in me that has me determined to provide for my kids.”
Janice has consistently volunteered in our Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) for three days a week for the past three years—700 hours of service! Her extraordinary commitment of time each week is just one of the factors that makes her an outstanding volunteer.
Cheyenne is excited to graduate next year, but will also miss Florence Crittenton Services. “They’ve always treated me really well,” she says. “It’s like I’m meant to be here.”
Florence Crittenton Services gave MonaLisa the opportunity to continue her education. The comfort of being with other girls her age, sharing the same journey of teen parenting, and the support of the faculty and staff were such blessings for her.
