Holiday GIVING Project
Every year, we provide our teen mothers and their children with a Thanksgiving meal and gifts for the holidays.
For many of our young mothers, this is the only way they are able to have a Thanksgiving meal, and the gifts are the only ones they and their children receive.
There are two ways to get involved:
- Give a monetary donation to feed a family for Thanksgiving or contribute to holiday gifts (we do the shopping for you). Be sure to write “Holiday GIVING” in the Special Instructions section of the donation form.
- Request a holiday ornament with a teen mother’s or child’s wish list and shop for their gifts – one personal item for mom, one package of diapers, one toy, and one children’s clothing outfit, each valued $25 or less. We collect the unwrapped gifts and distribute them to the teen moms at the start of their winter break. Return the form to C.C. Cram, firstname.lastname@example.org. Drop off gifts on December 14 and 15 at the Florence Crittenton Services admin office.
The Holiday GIVING Project is a meaningful and much appreciated way to give back to our community during the holidays.
