Every baby deserves to be clean, dry, and comfortable. But for many of the teen families we serve at Florence Crittenton Services, diapers and wipes can be hard to afford.
That’s where you come in.
We’re inviting companies, community groups, and individuals to collect diapers and wipes for Baby Bucks, our free basic needs store located on the FloCrit campus. Baby Bucks offers diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, books, and hygiene items for teen moms and their children.
- Preferred brands: Huggies, Pampers, or Luvs
- Sizes most needed: 5, 6, and pull-ups
Diapers and wipes are the most in-demand items. While we receive some support from partners, baby wipes are rarely donated and often need to be purchased by FloCrit.
Diaper & wipe donations are important to young families because:
- They help meet a fundamental need for infants, babies, and toddlers.
- Without clean diapers, babies are exposed to health risks and toxic stress.
- Mothers are at risk for increased maternal depression when they cannot provide diapers for their children.
- Parents choose work over school due to the inability to afford diapers.
From July 18 to August 15, help us stock Baby Bucks for the school year.
Companies, groups, and individuals can join this friendly competition to collect diapers and wipes for teen moms and their children.
- All participants will be featured in a group social media post and publicly thanked.
- The top 3 will be spotlighted on social media and featured in our bi-annual newsletter, The Pathfinder.
- Use our social media toolkit to help promote your drive.
