Q: What is Miles for Moms?

Miles for Moms is Florence Crittenton Service’s annual fundraiser run/walk/roll. Our goal is to celebrate the successes of FloCrit moms and their children, to spread awareness about FloCrit programs, and to raise money in order to further empower teen families.

Q: Who can participate?

Anyone and everyone, so bring a friend!

Q: When is Miles for Moms?

Miles for Moms is on October 7th, 2023. It begins at 9am with a welcome and kick-off program. The run will begin at 9:30am.

Q: Where does Miles for Moms take place?

The kick-off program and finish line will be at the Florence Crittenton Campus: 96 S Zuni St Denver, CO 80223. The route go through Huston Lake Park and the surrounding neighborhoods in southwest Denver.

Q: How much is registration?

Adults are $35

Ages 3-17 are $15

Ages 2 & under are free

Q: What does registration include?

Registration includes a t-shirt, admission to the welcome event and run, and admission to the Finish Line Festival!

Q: What is the benefit of being on a team?

Small or large, teams bring collaboration and a shared purpose to our mission of educating, preparing, and empowering teen moms and their children.

During registration, you’ll be asked if you’d like to create or join a team after you click “Add Ticket.” From there, you can use our provided fundraising toolkit to bring your team to the top!

Q: What are prizes awarded for?

We will be awarding the fastest runner, fastest stroller, and the best costume.

Q: What is the Finish Line Festival?

The first ever Finish Line Festival is a fall themed post-run event featuring vendor booths, a beer garden, the return of the kid’s race, and straight from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Curiosity Cruiser (a mobile museum featuring an exhibit called: Spicy, Revealed).

Q: How long is the route?

Nearly 3 miles.

Q: What if I don’t want to run?

Miles for Moms is a run/walk/roll meaning you can participate in any way you’d like. You can bring a bike, run for part of the route, or walk the entire thing. If you’re unable to participate in-person, you can make a donation on our Pledge It page.
